HOME – SCHOOL AGREEMENT
(to be read in conjunction with the Aims of the School)
At King Richard School we aim to provide a stimulating, secure and orderly environment in which children can
learn and develop as caring, responsible people. Parents play a crucial role in helping children learn and we
believe that our pupils can achieve more when the school and parents work together. A partnership between the
school, parents and pupils will help establish the positive attitudes that are vital aspects of our school life.
This Home-School Agreement provides a framework for the development of such a partnership.

welfare or behaviour;
• attend parents’ consultation sessions and discussions about my child’s progress;

• encourage my child to develop a positive attitude to school and give support with homework, extra curricular
activities and other opportunities for home-learning;
• take an active and supportive interest in my child’s work and progress;
2. The School will:

in line with the 1988 Education Reform Act, the National Curriculum and the SEN Code of Practice;
